Here in Egypt, the Sisters care for the Pelizäus Home (a retirement home) in Alexandria, and for the German Schools of the Borromean Sisters in Alexandria and in Cairo, Bab el-Louk.
The German School of the Borromean Sisters Alexandria was founded in 1884, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in Egypt. For over 140 years, DSBA has been a beacon of academic excellence and cultural exchange.
DSBA is a private, co-educational German international school serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
DSBA operates under the governance of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo and is officially recognized by both German and Egyptian educational authorities.
