At the invitation of the German Embassy in Cairo, our students took part in the interactive Climate Fresk workshop, an educational simulation designed to deepen participants' understanding of climate change. Working together, the students connected cards illustrating the causes and consequences of climate change, gaining valuable insights into the complex relationships within the Earth's climate system. The collaborative activity encouraged critical thinking and fostered a deeper awareness of today's environmental challenges. Following the workshop, the students developed their own ideas and proposals for climate action, which have now been submitted to the German Embassy. At the beginning of June, the most innovative proposals will be presented and judged at a special event in Cairo, alongside contributions from other German and French schools. We are keeping our fingers crossed for Class 9b and hope that one of their ideas makes it to the final round! 🌍
